The youngest visitor to survive the Fear Factory experience was just 7 years old, whilst our oldest was a lady of 83! It is at parents discretion as to whether or not this activity is appropriate for their children. Under 12’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 12 to 16 years old must have a parent or guardian sign for them if they are not entering with them. Unfortunately we cannot allow children younger than 7 to take part in the experience.
We accommodate school groups and corporate functions all the time and offer discounted rates to any groups of more than 15 people. To make an inquiry for your party please get in touch via email – [email protected]

Mobility impaired persons
Most people should be able to experience the fun and frights of Fear Factory Wellington. Walking sticks and crutches are not recommended. Our staff have experience in guiding visually and audibly impaired customers.
Unfortunately those in a wheelchair will be unable to enter the attraction but we do encourage them to visit reception.
If you have a chicken in your group they can wait on allocated seating in reception and listen to the screams!
You have no obligation to buy our photo’s but our scare snaps are some of the most memorable Wellington has to offer. You can pick up a pack for $30.00 that includes digital copies.
If you missed them when you were in the store, we keep pictures on record for 3 months so feel free to call us and we can either post them out to you (at an additional cost) or provide you the digital codes over the telephone.
Can you go alone?
Yes you can but we recommend you team up. It’s more fun with frightened friends!
Is it a ride or a walk?
You walk through the attraction with your fellow victims at your own speed following a trail of red lights.
How long is the experience?
Allow 30 minutes for the experience and add 5 minutes for your pants to dry!
Can pregnant Ladies enter Fear Factory?
What is the chicken list?
If at any time during your experience you choose not to continue you just stop and scream “CHICKEN!” and one of our ghouls will come to take your group directly to the exit. You are then added to our chicken list.
