Mobility impaired persons
Most people should be able to experience the fun and frights of Fear Factory Wellington. Walking sticks and crutches are not recommended as you do need to be able bodied to complete the tour.
Our staff have experience in guiding visually and audibly impaired customers if necessary so do alert a staff member if assistance is required.
Unfortunately those in a wheelchair will be unable to enter the attraction but we do encourage them to visit reception to visit the giftshop and spectate!
Spectators are welcome to attend! You can even watch as your friends go through parts of the maze. There is allocated seating in reception and listen to friends and family scream their way through!
Our scare snaps are some of the most memorable Wellington has to offer! We have several offerings for photos:
Photo-Pack (Includes Digital Copies) – $20.00
Photo-Pack + Video – $30.00
Single Photo – $15.00
If you missed them when you were in the store, we keep pictures on our system for 3 months. Feel free to call us and we can either post them out to you (at an additional cost) or provide you the digital codes over the telephone.
Is it a ride or a walk?
It’s a walk-through experience. You walk through the attraction with your fellow victims at your own speed following a trail of red lights, when out of the shadows – the LIVING DEAD come to get you!
Can you go alone?
You can but we recommend you team up. It’s more fun with frightened friends!
How long is the experience?
It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to walk through the maze itself, but we recommend allowing 30 minutes for the whole experience (and 5 minutes for your pants to dry)
What is the chicken list?
If you’re too scared and need to leave the experience early you can stop and call the safe word – ‘NIGHTMARES’. One of our ghouls will ask if ‘you’re absolutely sure?’ and if you are they will take you and your group directly to the exit.
You are then added to our EVER GROWING Chicken Counter!
